
Mr. Schafer is an associate with Fishback Dominick. While his focus is on government law, he also has experience advising business clients regarding entity formation, contract drafting, and intellectual property rights. Prior to joining Fishback Dominick, Mr. Schafer worked at the Florida Department of Management Services, the Division of Emergency Management, and the Brevard County Attorney’s Office.
Mr. Schafer is a 2024 graduate with honors from Florida State University College of Law where he also received a certificate in business law. He served as an Article and Notes Editor of the Florida State University Business Review and Staff Editor for the Florida State University Law Review. He was an active leader on campus, serving as an officer in numerous student organizations. His student note, “What’s So Fair About AI Art Generators? A Fair Use Analysis of Generative AI,” was selected for publication in Volume 23 of Florida State University Business Review.
As a Central Florida native, Mr. Schafer enjoys exploring Orlando’s vibrant cultural scene and natural beauty.
