Areas of Practice:
Mr. Jontz focuses his practice on commercial litigation, banking, creditors’ rights, and bankruptcy. He is admitted to practice in the courts of the State of Florida and the United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida.
He served two terms as president of the Orange County Young Republicans and once worked in Washington, D.C., for then-Congressman John Mica. He also interned with Ohio Congressman Rob Portman and Florida Senate President Toni Jennings while they were in office.
Mr. Jontz is Chair of the Florida Ninth Circuit Judicial Nominating Committee.
Mr. Jontz volunteered as a Guardian ad Litem for dependent children in Orange County and was recognized by the Florida Supreme Court for his work in 2015-16. He is past president of the Orange County Bar Association Foundation and a past chair of the James Madison Institute’s Central Florida Board of Advisors. An Eagle Scout, he served as the adviser to the local Law & Government Explorers Post sponsored by the Orange County Bar Association Foundation.
