Areas of Practice:
Mr. Schafer is an associate with Fishback Dominick. His focus is on government law and advising business clients regarding entity formation, contract drafting, and intellectual property rights. Prior to joining Fishback Dominick, Mr. Schafer worked at the Florida Department of Management Services, the Florida Division of Emergency Management, and the Brevard County Attorney’s Office.
Mr. Schafer is a 2024 graduate with honors from Florida State University College of Law where he also received a certificate in business law. He served as an Article and Notes Editor of the Florida State University Business Review and Staff Editor for the Florida State University Law Review. His student note, “What’s So Fair About AI Art Generators? A Fair Use Analysis of Generative AI,” was selected for publication in Volume 23 of Florida State University Business Review.
Ben is also an independently published author and has experience with the legal and business challenges faced by creators.
As a Central Florida native, Mr. Schafer enjoys exploring Orlando’s vibrant cultural scene and natural beauty.
