Andrew Mai Joins Fishback Dominick with Local Government Expertise

Fishback Dominick is pleased to announce Andrew Mai has joined the firm, bringing to Fishback Dominick clients vast experience in all aspects of local government law.  His practice focuses representing cities, counties, towns, villages and municipal agencies for simple and complex legal matters related to public private partnerships, development matters, contracts, bond issues, intergovernmental matters with the Federal Government, the State of Florida, cities, special districts, and community development districts.

Mr. Mai has practiced law since 2001, including 13 years as County Attorney for Osceola County, Florida and City Attorney for Sioux City, Iowa.  A leader among local government attorneys, Mr. Mai served as a Board Member of the Florida Association of County Attorneys and as the Florida Co-Chair and County Chair to the International Municipal Attorneys Association. He has appeared as a speaker at legal conferences, including the International Association of Government Officials, on such topics as bond issuance, working with elected officials, development, and county government.

Mr. Mai has taught fire service law and business law as an adjunct professor and attended Georgetown Law Center, William Mitchell College of Law.
