The Firm has extensive experience in all phases of alcohol and beverage law including contracts, administrative issues and licensing. The Firm has served as general counsel for the largest liquor retailer in the State of Florida for over fifty years.

The Firm conducts appellate work in the areas of Workers' Compensation, Commercial Litigation, Municipal and Local Government Law, and many other areas. Members of the Firm have been admitted in all State Courts, and many have been admitted in the Federal Courts, including the United States Supreme Court.

The Firm has extensive experience in all aspects of state and federal commercial litigation, representing clients in matters that include: property, contracts, banking, franchise, business fraud, foreclosure, collections, landlord-tenant and construction. Eminent Domain & Inverse Condemnation
The Firm represents property owners across the State of Florida in all phases of property acquisition, from simple negotiated governmental acquisitions to highly complex multi-party expert-laden litigation and appeals. Innovative concepts and techniques, as well as traditional methods, are considered to most clearly and cogently present compensation claims and to protect our clients' objectives.
Government Law
The Firm has deep and extensive experience in representing local governments and governmental agencies in all aspects of local, state, and federal issues. This challenging practice area requires detailed knowledge of governmental law, including civil litigation, appellate matters, comprehensive planning, zoning and land development, annexation, government financing, eminent domain, inverse condemnation, Bert J. Harris Act, bid/procurement, construction contracts, Administrative Procedures Act, Government in the Sunshine, ethics and public records law, real estate acquisition and contract negotiation matters, drafting and interpretation of ordinances, development agreements, and interlocal agreements. Firm attorneys attend numerous municipal board meetings as legal counsel including City Council/Commissions, Planning & Zoning Boards, Code Enforcement Boards, Charter Review Boards, Community Redevelopment Agencies, Election Canvassing Boards, Development Review Committees and Redistricting Committies. The Firm also represents a number of private land owners, businesses and developers in government law matters.
Labor and Employment Law
The Firm's Labor and Employment practice focuses on assisting clients in addressing employment issues before they lead to litigation. The Firm advises clients on effective workplace policies and practices. Training and education of management is critical to ensure this result. We provide clients with advice on daily workplace issues to help avoid potentially serious monetary exposure. However, if litigation results, the Firm has the qualifications and experience to effectively defend clients in such matters.
Land Use & Development
The Firm represents property owners, businesses and developers across the State of Florida in all stages of the land development and entitlement process. Our attorneys have experience in matters relating to quasi-judicial hearings, comprehensive plan amendments, rezonings, special exceptions, conditional uses, variances, planned developments, development agreements, impact fee issues, platting and subdivisions, lot splits, transportation concurrency, school concurrency and other concurrency issues, annexations, vested rights, non-conforming uses, and local government code compliance. The Firm also has experience representing clients in land use related litigation and administrative hearing processes.
Motor Vehicle Law
One of the Firm's partners is General Counsel to the National Auto Auction Association, an international trade association, and has a broad range of experience in motor vehicle law throughout the United States.
Real Estate
The firm’s real estate team offers legal counsel to individuals, businesses and institutions acquiring, selling, leasing, financing, managing, constructing, developing and investing in real estate. The firm has extensive experience with a wide spectrum of real estate transactions from complex commercial transactions to simple residential matters. The firm also handles real estate litigation matters including contract disputes, landlord-tenant, title and boundary disputes and title insurance defense and litigation. We are agents for Attorneys’ Title Insurance Fund, Inc. and Stewart Title Guaranty Company.
