Google Scholar is a free legal research platform that’s ideal for initial research and secondary sources.

Google Scholar offers state and federal case law from all 50 states.
1. Visit scholar.google.com
2. Select the Case Law button under the search box, select your court/s
3. Search by the terms, parties or by case citation
4. Click on the How Cited link to find related documents

Good to know:
· Results are sorted by relevance not date, but you can refine the results and also search within a year/s.
· It’s free and it’s public! So you can send a direct link to the case to anyone without any issues.
· You can set up e-mail alerts to get e-mails when new queries match your search.
