The Fishback Law Firm, (Fishback, Dominick, Bennett, Stepter, Ardaman, Ahlers & Langley, LLP) was founded by G. Ben Fishback in 1935.

Mr. Fishback attended the University of Kentucky and practiced law in Winchester, Kentucky, from 1919 until 1925, before moving to Florida. He was admitted to practice law in Florida in 1926, and originally practiced with the then existing Orlando firm known as Massey, Warlow, and Carpenter (later known as Warlow, Carpenter & Fishback).

In 1935, Mr. Fishback opened his own law office. By 1950, the partners consisted of Mr. Fishback, Robert L. Williams (a West Point classmate of Dwight Eisenhower) and Walter E. Smith. Mr. Julian K. Dominick joined the firm in 1953.

In 1950, the partners purchased a building located at the southwest comer of Rosalind Avenue and Washington Street and moved their law practice there from the Rutland Building. The firm practiced continuously at that location for more than 56 years, until May 1, 2007, when the firm moved to its current location at 1947 Lee Road in Winter Park.

Mr. Fishback passed away in 1983 at the age of 90. Mr. Dominick passed away in 2003 at the age of 79.

The firm currently consists of five partners, three associates, and fourteen support personnel.
